The Steadfast String-Locking Stopbar in Polished Nickel is a precision-engineered "drop-in" upgrade that completely reimagines the restringing process for Gibson and Epiphone guitars. While it maintains a period-correct, warm nickel luster, its functionality is entirely modern. Unlike traditional tailpieces that rely on the ball-end anchor at the bridge, the Steadfast allows you to reverse your stringing method. By placing the ball-end at the tuning post and locking the free end at the stopbar, you create a high-tension, double-locking system that significantly improves tuning stability and sustain.

This "ball-end at the headstock" eliminates the need for multiple wraps around a tuning peg, which is the primary cause of tuning "creep" and string slippage. Made from lightweight CNC-machined aluminum, this tailpiece also restores the harmonic resonance and "woody" snap found in late-50s instruments.
