Aircraft quality 6061 Aluminum alloy billets machined on 5-axis CNC machines ensure perfect consistency and the tightest manufacturing tolerances.

Material: CNC machined in the USA from a solid billet of lightweight 6061 aluminum alloy. This is the same high-grade material trusted in aerospace and performance industries for its high strength, light weight, and natural corrosion resistance. It was chosen for its superb balance of strength and mass which then leads to superior tone transfer.

Finish Options: Available in anodized aluminum (black or silver), nickel plated, gold plated, and custom Cerakote finishes.

     Anodized finish: A hard, wear-resistant surface while enhancing corrosion resistance. Ideal for maintaining long-lasting durability under repeated string changes and performance use.

     Nickel plated finish: Smooth, shiny, and corrosion-resistant, combining classic aesthetics with reliable performance.

     Gold plated finish: Provides the classic gold appearance with excellent corrosion resistance while maintaining the tonal benefits of the aluminum core.

     Cerakote: Common on custom guns and knives, this ceramic coating allows a wide variety of colors and levels of gloss. We will likely move away from anodization for our Black option stopbar and move to Cerakote for consistency from batch to batch.

Set Screws: High-quality fine-thread stainless-steel set screws provide exceptional strength, wear resistance, and long-term reliability. The extended dog-point design ensures a secure fit, smooth adjustment, and lasting performance.

Hex Driver: Designed in-house specifically for our application. This standard 2.5mm hex driver allows the user to tighten the set screw easily and secure the string without the worry of overtightening and breaking something.

Compatibility: The Steadfast Stopbar is designed as a tonal and performance upgrade for all fixed-bridge guitars using a TOM/Stopbar tailpiece (American or Metric!). It fits all standard stud spaced guitars for easy retrofit on existing hardware. If it doesn't fit, please return it.
