While it shares the same rigorous, two-stage preparation as our Standard Series, the Custom is finished in genuine 24K Gold: taking this stopbar from a simple performance component to a piece of jewelry for your guitar.

A Two-Stage Boutique Finish

The depth and luster of the Custom Series cannot be achieved through automated plating. Each bar undergoes a meticulous, multi-stage finishing process:

Stage 1: Mirror-Grade Hand Polishing: Every 6061 aluminum bar is hand-buffed to a flawless mirror shine. This labor-intensive step is the only way to ensure a "liquid" reflection once the gold is applied.

Stage 2: Authentic 24K Gold Plating: We use genuine 24K Gold to achieve a deep, rich brilliance. Because of the rising cost of precious metals and the precision required for the application, these are produced in strictly limited quantities.

Precision Engineering & Rapid Stringing

Built into every Steadfast Stopbar is a high-performance locking architecture designed to solve the two biggest headaches for players: tuning stability and string-change speed.

Streamlined String Changes: Our "ballend-at-the-headstock" system fundamentally changes the workflow. By feeding the string through the tuning post first, thereby securing the ball-end at the headstock, and locking the string at the Stopbar, you eliminate the post friction and hassle of traditional stringing methods. It is the fastest, cleanest way to string a guitar.

Zero Tuning Creep: Tuning posts with multiple wraps of string allow movement (of that string) at the tuning post. Our innovation eliminates this "creep" providing rock-solid pitch stability even during aggressive bends or heavy vibrato.

Resonant 6061 Aluminum: Carved from a solid block of aircraft-grade aluminum, this bar is significantly more resonant than stock zinc hardware. By locking the strings directly to lightweight and stiff aluminum alloy, you maximize energy transfer and sustain.
